Askari Digital Onboarding is an online account opening portal through which resident individual Pakistanis can open account of their choice from anywhere in Pakistan and enjoy banking on the go with Askari Bank’s digital solutions and a nationwide network of 500+ branches.
Only individual Resident Pakistanis (Natural person) including minors are eligible to apply for offered digital accounts.
Both Current & Savings account types are being offered in Islamic & Conventional banking mode.
Digital Accounts can be opened in local (PKR) & multiple foreign currencies (USD, GBP, EUR, AED) based on the chosen product.

Askari Asaan Digital Account/ Askari Islamic Asaan Digital Account

1. Front and back scanned copy or photo of valid original Computerized / Smart National Identity Card issued by National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). In case of expired identity card, NADRA token/ receipt for renewal purposes may also be used.

2. Signature (wet/digital/electronic) or any other authentication method as per bank’s approved policy/procedure.

3. Proof of business/work and source of income/funds of the customer (whereby Self-declaration for Askari Asaan Digital Account-ADA, Askari Asaan Digital Remittance Account-ADRA and Askari Freelancer Digital Account will suffice the purpose).
NOTE: Files can be uploaded in JPG, JPEG, PNG, and PDF (3 Pages maximum) format with a recommended file size of 5 MB for each uploaded document.
No, customer can fill their form in multiple sessions as per their convenience and after each session they would be able to save their progress to start from where they left in the next session.
As per regulator requirement, you are required to use a mobile number registered on your name for successful authentication of your credentials. Otherwise your account opening request cannot be processed.

Yes, Digital Account holder can apply for multiple accounts subject to the condition that the customer is not already maintaining same account in the same category.
  • For submission of account opening application - There is no need to visit Branch, if all the information provided by you is validated. Your account will be activated and you will be informed about it via Email on your registered Email address. However, you may be contacted by your branch and required to visit the branch if any of your provided information (depending on the nature) needs further clarification.
  • For Biometric Verification - Upon successful opening of Digital Account, you will have 60 days to get biometrically verified from any nearest Askari Bank branch. In case if customer is not verified biometrically in the given time period, debit block will be marked on his/her account. Upon successful biometric verification, debit block shall be removed.
If account is marked discrepant, an auto generated email will be sent to customer’s email address. Further, customer can also view the discrepancy upon visiting Digital Onboarding Portal.
Yes, Internet Banking is offered to Digital Account holders free of cost.
Customer can apply for the internet banking facility while filling and submitting account opening request. The credentials provided at the time of submission of request for account opening through Askari Digital Onboarding Portal will be used to access I-Net Banking.
Only PKR Digital Account holders are eligible for debit card facility.
Customer can apply for a Debit Card while filling and submitting account opening request.
Customer can apply for a Cheque Book while filling and submitting account opening request.
Debit Card & Cheque Book will be delivered at the address provided by the customer & the delivery time will depend on the geographical location of the customer.

Customers can request to change their Digital Account details by visiting their nearest branch.
Upon successful opening of Digital Account, you will have 60 days to get biometrically verified from any nearest Askari Bank branch. In case if customer is not verified biometrically in the given time period, debit block will be marked on his/her account. Upon successful biometric verification, debit block shall be removed.
All customer details and shared documents are secure and protected. However, Askari Bank would practice the right to share such information with State Bank of Pakistan, Government of Pakistan and other law enforcement agencies when demanded.
Yes, WHT will be applicable on Digital Accounts as per relevant laws and regulations.
Yes, the obligatory deduction of Zakat will be applicable on all Savings Account. You can request for Zakat exemption by submitting Zakat Declaration Form on or before 1st of Shabaan of each Hijri year.
